Sierra Wireless announces Windows 7 Device Stage support

Today Sierra Wireless announced that its AirCard product line now supports Windows 7 Device Stage. Microsoft's Device Stage, sort of like Autoplay, shows all of the features and services a device offers when it's plugged in. Sierra Wireless says Device Stage helps reduce support costs, among other benefits. Sierra Wireless claims that it's the first mobile broadband vendor to support Device Stage. Sprint to offer the BlackBoard Mobile Learn smartphone application

Today Sprint announced that, through a partnership with BlackBoard Inc., it plans to release the BlackBoard Mobile Learn application to its customers. The software helps faculty and students teach, learn, and collaborate. Teachers can create discussion boards and even post the course syllabus and assignments for viewing anywhere. Verizon Wireless to launch BilltoMobile service this spring

Today Verizon Wireless said that, in partnership with Danal Inc., it is planning to launch a new BilltoMobile payment service this spring. The service will allow Verizon Wireless customers to purchase online content and digital goods and add them to their monthly Verizon Wireless bill. Today T-Mobile UK posted two new smartphones to its "coming soon" website, the Sony Ericsson X10 and the HTC Desire.
