|
AT&T today unveiled its Quickfire, a touch screen smartphone with full QWERTY keypad.
Designed with text messaging in mind, the Quickfire integrates a large 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen display and QWERTY keypad. It can read messages in portrait or landscape mode.
Running on AT&T's high-speed 3G HSDPA network, the Quickfire downloads music with Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile. Through AT&T Navigator, consumers can get voice-guided directions and real-time traffic. AT&T's Cellular Video (CV) service streams and downloads news or music videos with HBO Mobile, or sports on ESPN.
The AT&T Quickfire will be available in November for $99.99 with a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate in orange, lime and silver colors.
