apple | clone/rip | devices | ezze mobile mega4 | fake iphone | fake sony ericsson | iphone | sony ericsson | sony ericsson iphoneThis isn’t actually the hot news as it was initially reported a month ago. However, it’s a slow news day and we decided to go with it nonetheless. FCC has recently unveiled a new device made by Ezze Mobile Tech. As you can see from the image above, the so called “MEGA4″ combines buttons from the [...]
Nokia N95 shrank then cloned
chinese n95 mini | clone/rip | devices | fake nokia n95 | mini nokia n95 | n95 small clone | nokia | small nokia n95Now, we've seen quite a few fake Nokia N95 devices. However, this time Chinese handset makers cloners went one step beyond. The so called "MM95" is, you guessed that correctly, much smaller than the original device. However, it does keep the dual-sliding mechanism and therefore looks quite nice. Even though I shouldn't praise fake devices, [...]
Fake SCNY mobile phone boasts 5.1 megapixel camera; Proves how certain Chinese company don't care about copyright
chinese camera phone | clone/rip | devices | fake sony phone | scny fe 230 | scny mobile phoneWhat we have here today is the so called SCNY FE-230 mobile phone. The device in question obviously infringes Sony's trademark, but unfortunately I doubt anyone cares much about that in the "world's fastest growing economy." The handset comes with a 5.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus, and if it wasn't a fake, I could even [...]

Xing Bao N98 uses Nokia NSeries naming scheme, iPhone's look and feel
apple | chinese clone | clone/rip | devices | iphone | iphone clone | nokia | nokia clone | xing bao n98If it wasn’t for the name and the “familiar” look, the Xing Bao N98 would be an interesting device. Similarly to the Samsung UpStage, this Chinese phone sports two screens — one on the front and the other on the back of the device. The front part is reserved for the huge 3″ touchscreen, while the back has the good ol’ physical keypad, kinda smallish 1.2″ display and Apple logo. Other specs include Bluetooth, handwriting input support, 1.3 MP camera, dual-band GSM radio, and of course the microSD slot. As you may’ve expected, this ugly baby costs like next to nothing and you can pick it up for $180 on your next trip to China… [Via: uberphones ] ---Related Articles at IntoMobile:There's no such thing as Nokia N86!Nokia 6110 Classic InformationChinese N92 phone uses Nokia's naming scheme; Has nothing to do with the original Nokia N92Nokia Supports ASD SchemeChange your iPhone's SMS text message bubbles to a matte finish - iPhone Matte
Chinese clone of the Sony Ericsson P1i features two SIM slots
clone/rip | devices | fake p1i | gold star p1i | p1i clone | p1i ripoff | sony ericsson | sony ericsson cloneThe so called Gold Star P1i may remind you on the Sony Ericsson P1i , but the look is where all the similarity ends. The original device is the Symbian UIQ3 based smartphone, while the copy is… well, the ripoff. To be fair we do find the Gold Star P1i to be an interesting device in terms of specs. It’s just that copying the Sony Ericsson’s — or some other handset maker’s — design doesn’t impresses at all. On the contrary… Anyway, in case you care to know, the “fake P1i” sports two SIM card slots (which is good), TV receiver (we’re not sure which standard is supported), media player, Bluetooth, camera that can also record videos, FM radio, and of course the microSD memory slot… And that’s it. If you wanted the P1i, go for it — no clone can replace the real thing. One more image and a short video demonstration of Gold Star P1i’s interface follow after the break. Another BMW phone; Unofficial again
bmw mobile phone | bmw phone | clone/rip | devices | fake bmw handset | fake bmw mobileAgain and again we see Chinese handset makers releasing devices wearing popular brand badges without any licensing agreements with the brand rights owner. Today we have yet another unofficial BMW phone, which actually doesn’t look that bad — it actually resembles some of the Windows Mobile based smartphones, but has the large BMW logo on the back. I find that without that “detail,” it would score more points, at least in our eyes. And I’ve almost forgot, the retail box also has the BMW logo on it. Shame… More photos after the break. LG Prada ripoff, sort of, kind of
chinese lg prada | clone/rip | devices | fake lg prada | lg | lg prada clone | lg prada ripoffIt seems certain handset makers cloners from the Far East have problems in cloning the LG Prada phone. Or at least the latest Chinese ripoff device we’ve spotted suggests so. First there are awkward (ugly) and sooo not-easy-to-use buttons, which actually involve a learning curve. Then there’s a number of small details that further tells us the process of building this device was conducted without a designer on board. Or he/she was drunk. However, there are some good things about the so called Chinese Prada phone, like gaming. The joypad attached to the device on the image bellow tells us there’s some kind of gaming engine, most probably NES emulator, pre-installed with the device. In addition, let’s not forget dedicated media playback buttons, as well as stereo speakers that surround the camera on the back of the phone. Again it’s ugly and the quality is… well… questionable… so keep your money for something else. Check out few more photos after the jump.
