Ypulse: Teens and young adults send more SMS than any other demographics

We just didn’t knew how much more they do that… According to Ypulse, people ages 13-24 send more than 50 messages per week. In contrast, half of all survey respondents use text messaging at least once a week. Furthermore, Ypulse’s findings indicate that 54% of the mentioned demographic use SMS for social networking, while 44% of them use it for flirting or dating. Finally, 10% of 13-34 year olds said they have broken up with a boy or girl friend using text messaging.
