Now this is weird. The company that specializes in mobile gambling technologies and was also known as a disposable cellphones maker not long ago released a new Windows Mobile smartphone. And while we guess they’ve outsourced the manufacturing to some Chinese or Taiwanese OEM, it’s interesting to note they’ve made sure their new smart baby, called HOP2001 , can work on both CDMA and GSM networks. To be fair, we see no EV-DO in the specs, but HSDPA is there, meaning that for the full download speeds, you better have an account with AT&T. In addition, the HOP2001 also packs the large 2.8″ QVGA touchscreen, 3 MP camera with 10x zoom and autofocus, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth 2.0, 256 MB Flash ROM and 128 MB SRAM, built-in GPS receiver, and of course the microSD expansion slot. Quite an impressive specs for the new entrant in the smartphone market. I wonder will some carrier pick it up… [Via: CrunchGear ] --- Related Articles at IntoMobile:
