iPhones selling out in UK following O2 price cut

So, what was the biggest barrier to entry for potential iPhone customers in the UK? By the looks of it, it was the price. Following the £100 price cut on iPhones from O2 UK, O2 and Carphone Warehouse retail locations are reporting that iPhone stock is selling out like it was launch day all over again. Some O2 stores even reported that they sold out of iPhone stock on the day of the price cut. The price cut has revived a slowdown in iPhone sales, and highlights UK demand for the iPhone. Some O2 customers looking for a lower-priced iPhone in the UK may have to wait until their local retail location takes shipment of new iPhones this weekend. The iPhone 8GB will be offered at the frenzy-inducing £169 price point until June 1, presumably before the 3G iPhone launches. [Via: Mobile Today ] --- Related Articles at IntoMobile:
