LG Secret gets DivX certification

I'm not exactly sure why it's important for LG to certify it's devices with DivX, but apparently they like the idea. So following Viewty , the newly revealed LG Secret (aka KF750 ) is getting the "DivX Certified" badge, allowing users to "load their favorite DivX videos onto the phone's memory via USB or memory card and enjoy quality viewing." It's like you can't convert clips and watch them nonetheless? Anyway, LG Mobile's VP of Global marketing strategy team, Stated Chang Ma, commented: "LG recognizes that DivX video playback is a feature that consumers appreciate and rely on. As our newest phone to offer high quality DivX technology, the LG Secret will allow consumers to do more with their media, watching it how and where they want to watch it."
