Motorola planning Qualcomm powered low cost 3G handset for EU and APAC in Q3
motorola
In the third quarter of this year Qisda ( formerly known as BenQ ) is expected to begin shipments of a monoblock form factor device for Motorola that will be powered by a Qualcomm solution. The device will be priced around $100 for people in the channel, which means we'll probably be seeing it retail for a bit over $150 after everyone down the line gets their cut. You can expect this new handset to arrive in the EU and APAC regions first, with NAM availability at a later date. It is supposed to have "rich multimedia functions," but that price tag may suggest otherwise. [Via: Digitimes ] --- Related Articles at IntoMobile:
