New features and design on the way
A while back I decided it was time to update the look of the website. It's looking a bit dated, and there are a number of new things that we want to do with it that the current design just won't allow for. One of the ideas that we had for the new site was what we are calling the BrowserBar, that new strip across the top of the main section of the home page that let's you quickly see all of the latest phones. In preparation for the new templates for the site, we coded that up and I decided I might as well toss it in now, rather than waiting. So if you are having any trouble with the top of the home page, try doing a refresh/reload of the page (optionally while holding down the shift key). That should fix things up. In other news, we have a lot of reviews coming up. We've got Motorola's Z9 and Q9c (with Windows Mobile 6.1), Samsung's u900 Soul and i620 (in a cute white scheme), the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 with T-Mobile's @Home support, the Sony Ericsson K850, and HTC's Touch Cruise - all lined up and in the queue. Needless to say, we'll be busy. Personally, I'll be flying out to London soon for the HTC launch event. We have no idea if it will be for, perhaps, the new TouchFLO 2 and associated devices, or maybe, just maybe, HTC's Android based Dream. Whatever it is, though, HTC seems to be making a big fuss about it all. So keep checking back for all of the news and reviews that are coming up. And let me know if you run into any browser compatibility problems with the new BrowserBar at the top of the home page.
