Reply to BlackBerry emails with voice - Jott does voice recognition on BlackBerry
With all the push-emailing and that industry-setting QWERTY keyboard on RIM's BlackBerry handsets, we can see how all those thumbs out there could start to get worn out. If you haven't already injured your thumbs with all that tap-tapping, Jott wants save your thumbs from eventual injury. The new Jott application is aimed at BlackBerry 8800, 8300, and 8100 smartphones and adds a "Reply with Jott" option to all email menus. With an on-screen prompt and a couple voice commands, Jott allows users to reply to emails with voice-dictated emails. Jott works over Bluetooth headsets as well. Jott claims that voice-replies to emails are 3 to 5 times faster than tapping out the message with your thumbs - so you might be better off shooting out all those emails by voice rather than typing. It also opens up the possibility of replying to emails while driving or with a handful of, say, groceries. To download the Jott application for your BlackBerry, point your BlackBerry browser to www.jott.com/bb and download the app. Jott --- Related Articles at IntoMobile:
