Samsung F110 Adidas Fitness phone live at CTIA Las Vegas 2008
The Samsung-Adidas duo have their sights squarely placed on the Nike-Apple parntership, and it looks like Samsung's got a winner here. We got a hold of the Samsung F110 Adidas Fitness phone at CTIA Las Vegas 2008 came away with a few pictures. The Samsung F110 is put together quite nicely. It feels good in the hand and has a slick, precise sliding mechanism. There's no wiggle or jiggle here, the Samsung F110 is a solid piece of craftmanship. And, the F110 will let you know when you're slacking off on your workout and even when you're working out too hard. With the help of a pedometer and external heartbeat monitor, the Samsung F110 Adidas phone tunes you in to your body's workout sweetspot - giving you verbal and visual cues on your workout. A nice booth rep was kind enough to show us how well the F110's miCoach software tracks your heartrate and how the soothing female voice that ticks off the miles (and, more importantly, calories) during your run. The software is well done, and is reminiscent of the Nike+iPod application. And, the verbal prompts are more comprehensive than the Nike+iPod system. Quad-band makes the Samsung Adidas F110 a lock for the US market, so look for this thing to drop in the near future. Pricing still unknown. --- Related Articles at IntoMobile:
