Slashpower goes bankrupt, wireless device charging lives on

Imagine a day when all portable gadgets can get their recharge-on without the need for cumbersome wires and cables. That day is almost upon us. Unfortunately, that day will never come for Slashpower. The company that has been working on their wireless device charging technology since 2004 has filed for bankruptcy. Apparently, they weren't able to turn a dime on wishful thinking alone. Without any commercial proof of solid progress in their wireless charging endeavor, Slashpower has decided to fold their cards. There still are other players in the wireless charging market, but we may not be using any Slashpower-sourced wireless charging base stations in the near future.
