Those that are hungry for more information about the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 super-phone will be pleased to know that the Swedish-Japanese handset maker revealed us more through the recently released white paper . Here's what we know:
- Pre-loaded XPERIA panels:
- Sony Ericsson Panel - news, weather, finance, world clock, and app shortcuts
- Media Experience Panel - multimedia consumption and navigation
- Slideshow Panel - slideshow of recent photos and videos
- Microsoft Today Panel
- 3D Fish Panel - Aquarium with 3D fishes (is this a screensaver or what)
- Custom Panels - user customized
- Media Sharing - allows media sharing (DLNA compatible) via ActiveSync or WiFi
- Video recording options
- MPEG-4: 30fps @ VGA
- H.263: 30fps @ VGA (U.S. model only at 24fps)
- H.264: 15fps @ VGA (not supported on U.S model)
- Browser bundled is only Internet Explorer. I guess we'll have to install Opera or some other browser for ourselves.
- Location services - Google Maps is pre-installed by default
