I'm not actually sure whether we should trust a study conducted by a mobile comparison shopping site, but their numbers are staggering, so I decided to go with it nonetheless. Actually, it's not a matter of trust, more it's about the methodology used for collecting the data. Anyway, according to Wirefly's survey, when it comes to [...]

Ypulse: Teens and young adults send more SMS than any other demographics

It’s kinda obvious that teens and young adults are texting more than any other demographic. We just didn’t knew how much more they do that… According to Ypulse, people ages 13-24 send more than 50 messages per week. In contrast, half of all survey respondents use text messaging at least once a week. Furthermore, Ypulse’s findings indicate that 54% of the mentioned demographic use SMS for social networking, while 44% of them use it for flirting or dating. Finally, 10% of 13-34 year olds said they have broken up with a boy or girl friend using text messaging. Now, that’s nasty… [Via: textually.org ] ---Related Articles at IntoMobile:Young adults prefer mobiles over landlines29 million users in the U.S. play mobile gamesNearly 1 In 5 Adults In US Will Buy Apple's iPhoneTwitter limits outbound SMS in UKSend out bulk SMS text messages with ClearSMS - the newest way to invite your friends to your next tea-party
