Well lookey what we have here. Hot on the heels of the Nokia Tube demonstration that showed off Espoo's touchscreen-based competitor to the multi-touch iPhone, here are some more details on the Nokia Tube. Symbian-freak managed to score a live pic of the Nokia Tube in the wild. The S60 Touch-based handset from Nokia looks a [...]

Nokia shows off iPhone fighting Nokia Tube

The Finnish mobile phone giant is not about to let the iPhone take any of its dominant market away from Espoo. With the iconic iPhone redefining the user experience in mobile phones, Nokia has been toiling away with a touch-based competitor to the iPhone. With S60 Touch finally getting the touchscreen treatment that the Symbian [...]

Is this the first Nokia device with S60 Touch UI? Nah, it's the Bluetooth GPS module

Thorsten from NokiaPort.de managed to capture a screen from Nokia’s presentation showing the handset maker’s known and one unknown device. It’s only natural to ask - is this the first S60 Touch enabled device? We can’t see any buttons on the surface of the device, so we may be onto something. Or this is just a planned PR stunt from Nokia, to get some media traction. If the latter is the case, kudos to Nokia — you got us all excited! UPDATE: Nah, it’s just the Nokia LD-4W Bluetooth GPS module . Still, we’ll keep our eyes wide open for first S60 Touch based devices… ---Related Articles at IntoMobile:Exclusive: Touch enabled S60 will be at the summitBrief: Nokia and Touch: What do we know about the next version of S60?Telus launches HTC Touch, S640 in CanadaMore proof that S60 touch is nearPicture: Concept S60 Touch devices
