Deutsche Telekom to acquire Sprint?

File this under "we're so not sure about this," but apparently T-Mobile (its parent company, actually) may pursue the acquisition of Sprint, which had certainly seen better times. According to German paper Der Spiegel, which doesn't cite sources, the German telecom giant may pursue the deal, which would include snagging Nextel as well — a [...]

Another proof pink Palm Centro is coming

We’ve already posted that Palm is working on the pink version of its successful Centro smartphone. Now we have a new piece of information suggesting that was more than a rumor. As a matter of fact, thanks to the SprintUsers.com forum member “TheRobin”, we have a high-quality promotional photo of the upcoming device — pictured above — and a not-that-exact release date - “sometime in January or February 2008.” If our previous source was right, Sprint and Palm will be launching the Centro in pink on January 13. We’ll see… [Via: gadgetsonthego.net ] ---Related Articles at IntoMobile:Sprint to launch pink Palm Centro for Valentine's Day?Sprint to launch Pink Palm Centro and Red BlackBerry 8130 on January 13?Palm Centro coming to AT&T?Sprint's Palm Treo 800 Gandolf will be launched as the Palm CentroRed Palm Centro now available on Sprint

Sprint to launch pink Palm Centro for Valentine's Day?

Over at TreoCentral forums , what seems as a Sprint employee “ashblades” is claiming that the carrier along with Palm will be launching a pink Centro smartphone on February 8. The idea seems obvious — to increase the sales during the Valentine’s Day’s shopping season by appealing to females. Earlier we saw Sprint launching black and red versions of the Palm Centro, and somehow launching the Pink-colored device would go in line with Palm’s strategy, which also offered its Treo 680 smartphone in several color options. We’ll keep our eyes on this and keep you folks well informed. Stay tuned… [Via: gadgetsonthego.net ] ---Related Articles at IntoMobile:Red Palm Centro now available on SprintBlack Palm Centro now available on Sprint's site for $99 with contractSprint's Palm Treo 800 Gandolf will be launched as the Palm CentroPalm teases us with Palm Centro - don't you wish there were more of you?Sprint's Centro commercial: Ever wish there were more of you?
