The mobile space is all about convergence. It's all about putting the power of a laptop, music player, camera, and PDA in the palm of your hand.

Sony Ericsson never ceases to surprise us with their loose-lipped handset leaks. Spy-shots and upcoming handset leaks coming out of Sony Ericsson are almost expected, and with CTIA Las Vegas bearing down on us, we've got another handset leak to show you.

I think it would have been easier to ask, "who doesn't want a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1?" As Sony Ericsson's Windows Mobile-powered, high-res touchscreen, sliding QWERTY superphone, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is quite possibly the most anticipated WinMo device that we've heard of to date. And, in a seeming effort to cash in on [...]

Sony Ericsson denies reports that it is ending partnershp with DoCoMo

Wow, the Japanese handset market is really proving to be a tough nut to crack (a profit from, that is). With Sanyo's recent exit from the mobile phone business, and Mitsubishi's withdrawal from the handset game, it's clear that even Japan's larger handset makers are done with the grind that is the mobile phone industry. The [...]

Sony Ericsson HBH-PV703 Bluetooth headset quitely released

We’re used to manufacturers flooding the interwebs with press releases and pictures of their newest product launch, but it seems Sony Ericsson has decided to take the more modest approach. Hidden within a press release for their Sony Ericsson K660i is a mid-range Bluetooth headset - the Sony Ericsson HBH-PV703 Bluetooth headset. The Sony Ericsson HBH-PV703 Bluetooth headset isn’t that much of a looker - it’s a mid-level model, after all - but it boasts some fairly impressive battery life. A full-charge is good for 10 hours of talk-time or 350 hours of standby-time, so you’ll likely never miss a call for want of power. The Sony Ericsson HBH-PV703 also features automatic pairing, voice dialing, and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. We’re expecting the Sony Ericsson HBH-PV703 Bluetooth headset to drop in Q1 2008, price is not yet known.
