A bit of a cover-all statement that one, but a survey conducted by Jupiter Research says two-thirds of US adults don't care about listening to music on Mobile - and this from the land of the iPhone? Surely not! Apparently reasons for this are cost of downloads, and hassle involved - don't people know that everything worth getting involves effort though..? The author of the story about the report goes on to mention that he thinks Operator portal download services are too clunky (fair point generally), and that only iTunes and Nokia Music Store get it right, along with the upcoming Sprint store. - Only 5% of U.S. mobile subscribers sideload tunes from their computer
- Only 2% download tracks over the air
- Only 14% of users are even remotely interested in over-the-air downloads
- Young adults prefer mobiles over landlines
- Reliance on mobile phones growing in the US - study says cellphone use rising
- I finally understand why I don't like Twitter
- 29 million users in the U.S. play mobile games
- Survey: 1/8 of US households rely soley on mobile phones - 13.6% shun landlines
