W3C out with Mobile Web Best Practices 1.0

W3C has unveiled a new document titled “Mobile Web Best Practices 1.0″ to improve the user experience of the Web when accessed from mobile devices. The recommendations refer to delivered content and not to the processes by which it is created, nor to the devices or user agents to which it is delivered. In that sense, the document is primarily directed at creators, maintainers and operators of Web sites. Alongside the document, W3C has also unveiled the Flipcards - “useful reminders of the sixty guidelines explained in detail in the specification.” I’ll stop here. We do support W3C’s move to unify the mobile web and want to see everyone accessing Web from their mobile phone.
